On November 27, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their engagement. Then, they took part in the traditional photo shoot and gave their first joint interview. On this day, the lovers were accompanied by photographer, Alexi Lubomirski, who took two of their official portraits. The photos were taken at Frogmore House in Windsor. In a black and white photo, you can see Meghan’s engagement ring very well. The design was developed by Harry himself. The ring is encrusted with three diamonds: the largest one, he brought from Botswana, and the other two were taken from Princess Diana’s tiara.
A famous New York fashion photographer, Alexi Lubomirski, who specializes in portraits of famous people, took the photos. Lubomirsky is the former assistant of photographer, Mario Testino, who often took pictures of Prince Harry’s mother, Princess Diana.
These photos can make us believe in love. Harry is wrapping his future wife in his coat, so gently and tenderly. It is not possible to take our eyes off the photo or to stay indifferent. This photo is so sensitive and emotional.
Then everybody’s attention falls on Meghan’s dress. Her dress is really fabulous. Fans of the royal family left thousands of enthusiastic comments. However, some critics left negative comments. They compared Meghan with Kate Middleton, when Kate and William had their photo shooting in honor of their engagement.
Portraits of Harry and Meghan turned out more intimate and frank than the photos of his brother. The bride and groom did not hide their tenderness and passion in front of the photographer’s lens – in one picture, Harry tries to slightly wrap Meghan with his coat, and in the other she sits at his feet.
Let’s remember some interesting information about this couple. Harry and Megan began dating in 2016. In late October, Markle moved to London and left her acting career. Their wedding will be in the chapel of St. George in Windsor Castle near London, next year. We can all see that the royal family is not as strict about its traditions as it once was. Even some decades ago, it was impossible for a member of the royal family to marry a regular person, especially, a divorced woman.
