Unfortunately, we all have that one friend, who simply has to share everything on Facebook. Literary everything from going to the gym to how they feel that particular day, these people will post everything on their timeline. We also have those couples who find consolation in posting about how much they are in love on their Facebook pages, like a way to validate their relationship.
These couples will post all their romantic dinners, romantic travels, holding hands, sharing kisses and we feel like an obligation to like all those posts.
A research conducted in London at Brunel University, revealed that all those people who constantly have the urge to share everything about their life on Facebook are plainly narcissistic. And the couples that I mentioned above have low self-esteem. Maybe not both of the partners, but definitely one of them seeks attention and validation through those likes and comments.
Dr. Tara Marshall, one of the researchers, also stated that even though these people get ridicules amounts of likes and comments on their posts, it might be because people pity them and are simply being polite to them.
